Openhouse 2015
The MCRG Open House aims to introduce our activities and encourage a good relation with companies,
organizations or research institute from outside. Every year, we also invite keynote speakers to
give some speech about the topic of interest in that year.

Green evolution in 5G wireless communications
The mobile traffic explosion by proliferation of smart-devices such as smart-phones or tablets has been a considerable
problem, and this problem is expected to become more severe because of the expansion of wearable devices and sensor networks.
The discussion of 5G is now a hot topic and especially the term "Green" has received a lot of attention from several
points of view in recent years. Ultra high speed communication and high efficient transmission scheme for the transmission
power reduction, high performance algorithm and low power consumption chip for the signal processing power reduction,
and high efficient system architecture for the network cost reduction are considered as a "Green" communication.
On the other hand, the necessity of being "Green" is also brought about in the field of biological effects.
Then, what is the "Green" wireless communication? In MCRG open house this year, we would like to discuss what "Green" is.
